For families who want hands-on support navigating the retirement residence search and move-in process.
GALA works alongside your family to identify appropriate residences, compare your options, coordinate with homes and help move the process forward from initial research through move-in.
When you choose a participating GALA partner residence, the residence compensates GALA for our placement services, so there is no placement fee to your family. If you choose a residence that does not have a partnership with GALA, the full-service placement fee is $1,500 + HST.

We review your loved one's needs, preferences, location and budget and provide a customized shortlist of suitable residences, updated pricing and availability.

We believe families should understand how GALA makes money.
Some care providers pay GALA a platform fee when services are booked through GALA.
Some retirement residences may also compensate GALA when a family we support chooses to move into their residence.
These arrangements do not determine which providers or residences we recommend. Recommendations are based on the needs, preferences, budget, location and circumstances of the person and family we are supporting.
